A brow lift is a procedure that is performed
to achieve a more youthful look in a person’ face.
Droopiness of the eyebrows and forehead s mainly caused
due to time and gravity; brow lift surgery corrects this
drooping by removing the extra forehead muscles and tissue
that causes it in the first place.
A brow lift surgery is normally done as an outpatient procedure
and accomplished in one of two ways: the first is the traditional
brow lift surgery, in which the surgeon makes an incision
across the hairline; here, the forehead skin is gently raised
and segments of the forehead muscle tissue and extra skin
can be removed and the remaining tissue raised. The second
way is called the Endoscopic brow lift surgery, in which
the surgeon, rather than making a long incision across the
hairline, he or she makes several little incisions into
which an endoscope is inserted and the underlying tissue
pulled upwards.
The majority of people who have undergone a brow lift surgery
feel as though they have regained some of their youthfulness
and therefore feel younger as a result. Because the aging
process does not stop nor slow down, one may think about
having the brow lift surgery procedure done once again at
a later time.
