Today, women of all ages are looking to lip
augmentation procedures to bring that once luscious look

Lip augmentation procedures are often administered as outpatient
procedures and normally take place in the doctor’s
surgical office and can take anywhere from 15 minutes to
1 hour. If a lip augmentation is being applied in conjunction
with another plastic surgery procedure, such as a face lift
(which may require hospitalization), the injection will
be administered there. No anesthetic is needed when being
injected with collagen, but a local anesthetic may be required
when using fat injections. Most California lip augmentation
procedures range in duration from a few months to approximately
one year.
